Membership

Subscription Prices Valid until the end of December 2006
You can apply to join as a member by writing to the Club Membership Secretary-- Willie Houston, 44 Kilnford Crescent, Dundonald, Ayrshire KA2 9DN enclosing a completed membership form (downloadable here) a recent passport sized photograph of yourself, and a photocopy of your actual passport photograph page.

On payment of Subscription and submission of Application Form and Passport Photo page, it will be arranged for you to visit the Security Section of the Airport (at the main terminal), to be issued with a Photo ID Card.

You will also be issued with a Membership card and given two keys -- a permanent 5 lever lock key and a Yale key. The latter is usually changed each year and sent out when membership is renewed.

Students and Pilots are only allowed to fly the aircraft of the various Groups (under the umbrella of the PFC) as long as they are 'paid up' PFC members.

For security purposes, no one is allowed Airside unless they have a Security ID or are accompanied by a PFC Member eg with an Instructor for Trial Flights.

Temp Membership Must cover the current cost of airside pass, currently ₤50+VAT + ₤10 per month.

Social Members Any member who requires an airside pass must pay the current cost of the pass along with the above Social membership fee

Your form should be completed, signed and returned with a cheque payable to "Prestwick Flying Club" to our membership secretary:-

*If you are in our area for a short period and hold at least an NPPL, you can apply for a temporary membership at 10 joining fee plus 20 per month. This is at the discretion of the club directors and certain conditions will have to be met. Just complete an application form and send it to our Membership Secretary with a covering letter stating the circumstances.
